Sarah Taylor worked as a waitress in this
restaurant in the 60's. She was a single mom raising seven
children. Sarah told her boss Pete Woodland, "I'm going
to own this place one day."
In September 1978, she made her dream a
reality.
Like mother, like daughter, I'm carrying the dream
onward.
(Sarah's husband Edgar peeled 4 million (+/-) lbs.
of potatoes before retiring his peeler, or the story goes)
